Alexandrea Lushington - American Idol

It's official - Alexandrea Lushington has made the top 24 in season seven of American Idol.



On Wednesday night the final 24 contestants in the seventh season of American Idol were announced. And one my favorites - Alexandrea Lushington - has made it into the top 24 singers left in the competition.

The 17 year old cutie from Douglasville, Georgia seems well liked by the judges. But the competition is tough. It looks like this year's winner will have to beat out some very very talented performers.

Some other talented singers on the girls side of the competition include Asia'h Epperson, Kristy Lee Cook, Amy Davis, Syesha Mercado and Ramiele Malubay, the georgeous Filipino-American girl.

News and photos of Alexandrea Lushington is scarce at the moment but as series seven moves on I am sure more information will come to light. I will be trying to bring you the latest news, photos and video here on this site as I find it.

Did you watch Wednesday night's show? I must say I wouldn't have missed it. But it was a let down that I had already seen the spoiler and knew who had made it - and who hadn't. But it was still compelling viewing.
